Monument pour honorer la démocratie instaurée au Taiwan au coeur de la ville de Taipei. Ce fut le lieu de rassemblement pour de nombreux événements historiques qui ont grandement changé l’île. Cet endroit a été un lieu symbolique du changement de régime communiste KMT à la démocratie.

National momument built in memory of the former President of Taiwan. At the heart of Taipei, it has been known to be the hub of many historic gatherings. This place played a key part in Taiwan becoming a democracy in the 80s and parting ways with the communist party KMT.
