Hi! Nice to meet you!
Since I was young, I’ve always enjoyed traveling and discovering new places. I always had a camera to take pictures of things I found interesting. That passion grew over the years and when I found a summer job in the tourism industry that paid people like me to drive a bus in famous destinations like Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Francisco. They even paid for the plane ticket to do so, I was so excited!
After spending 7 years studying at University and not knowing what to settle for, I’ve realized that I was wasting my time and needed more in my life. That’s when I decided to quit my program to teach English abroad after obtaining a Teaching Certificate. I could teach in China, Vietnam, Thailand, South America, South Korea… So many possibilities!
I finally decided to choose Taiwan because it was a tropical climate on a beautiful island that has developed transportation, safe streets, and allows you freedom of speech. Moving to Taiwan gave me the opportunity to grow my photography business and time to work on my side projects without any distractions.
After a skype interview that went well, my employer told me they’d take care of my VISA and that the only thing left to do was to fly in. I decided to take the plunge and to believe in myself and I left with only 200$ in my bank account.
I ended up loving Taiwan so much, I stayed 2 years and has covid not affected us, I could see myself living there. I finally came back to Canada to spend time with my family and decided to pursue my teaching career and fell in love.
I still have a passion for traveling and do it as much as I can every year.
Hopefully, I can help you plan your trip and find activities to do in these destinations.
My goal is to create a travel community where we can share tips and learn how to travel smart.
I’m open to guest posting so contact me if it’s something that interests you.
